Hello, and welcome to my website! My name is Barb Carrico and I have been a consultant with Close To My Heart for 10 years. I began as a Hobbyist, and that lasted for about 5 years. However in June 2004, when CTMH intoduced "My Acrylix" to the world, EVERYTHING changed for me!! I came home from the CTMH Convention so excited, and really started sharing my love of our products!

My growing team currently consists of 74 downline helping me share our AWESOME products across the USA! At this time, we have consultants from the Pacific to the Atlantic! Talk about the Trip of a LIFETIME!! It would have to be the 2007 (ALL-Expenses Paid) Alaskan Cruise that I earned through CTMH!!! Thanks to all of you for your support! You... my customers and friends, and our awesome products... are the reasons why I love this business! I will not forget why I was able to take my husband on this dream trip! YOU! Thank you again and again! And thank you to CTMH for a wonderful trip where they spoiled us each and every day!! I truly recommend taking an Alaskan Cruise, at least once in your life!

And I have earned my 2nd CTMH Cruise!

Back in March 2008, I received a call from CTMH and was asked if I would be interested in creating some artwork for the Autumn/Winter 2008 Idea Book... My reply went like this... "WOULD I? OMG!! I have Goose Bumps all over!! Thank you so much!" I was so shocked and honored that CTMH would call and ASK ME!! I have enclosed a slide show of my layouts in the A/W 08 Idea Book - My layouts are on page 32... I hope you enjoy them!

One other very important thing I wanted to share with you... back in October 2002, my precious, darling (and only) granddaughter, Hannah, was born... and within a hour, we were told that she had a cleft palate... Bless her heart, she struggled through every bottle she took, and eventually, every bite of food she tried to swallow until a few days after her 1st Birthday, when she had her repair surgery. Hannah, at 7, still struggles with her speech, but she is so much better thanks to the surgery that fixed her cleft palate! With that said, I was thrilled beyond belief when Jeanette Lynton, our founder and CEO, announced that CTMH's Charity would now be one of the Children's Charities within Operation Kids... OPERATION SMILE! This is a wonderful Charity that travels the globe and repairs cleft lips and cleft palates in precious children who would otherwise live in fear, shame and sadness due to their deformities.

I have decided to set a personal goal to raise the funds to create 4 new SMILES in 4 precious children around the world! Why 4? One SMILE in honor of each of my precious Grandchildren! I have attached a Fundraising Thermometer here to help hold me accountable, and to share with you where I am in regards to my goal!

One of the ways I will be doing this, I have ordered 250 silicone bracelets that are blue & white swirl that say: I helped 'Create a Smile'... I will be offering these as my way of saying thank you for any donation you make, through me, toward Operation Smile... to get yours, contact me at meridots@aol.com or 703-690-4160!
