Getting Started
Follow the helpful hints as outlined below, in addition to the assembly instructions found in our how-to books, to re-create the featured scrapbook layouts. If you’ve attended the workshop hosted by your Close To My Heart Consultant, you’ll already have some of the products needed to re-create the featured layouts. You’ll notice we have used additional products, not included in the workshop, to show the endless possibilities that accessories can create. If you haven’t attended the workshop and would like to create the layouts, contact your Consultant to order the necessary supplies.

Helpful Hints
To re-create the layouts as shown here, follow the helpful hints as outlined. For more detailed information on how to assemble the featured layouts, refer to our how-to book Cherish™. Your Close To My Heart Consultant can offer more information on the featured scrapbooking techniques.
- Print out the cutting guide PDF and use it in conjunction with the how-to book.
- Cover the Dimensional Elements for the Creative Rhythm™ layout as follows: one medium flower with accent piece 1; one large flower with accent piece 2; two flourishes with accent piece 3.
- Cover the Dimensional Elements for the Designer’s Eye ™ layout as follows: one circle and one medium flower with accent piece 1; one large flower with accent piece 2.
- Using the dry embossing stylus, create a frame around some of the photos, as desired.
- Using the sponging technique, apply Cocoa ink to the papers, My Stickease® images, Dimensional Elements, and photos, as desired.
- To create the scallop behind photo 2 on the right page of the Designer’s Eye layout, cut the large Dimensional Elements flower (covered with the script patterned paper) into equal sections, trimming two petals at a time. Attach each section in a row behind the photo, placing them along the right edge.
- To create the center of the My Stickease medium flowers, cluster three brads.
- Attach the brads, bookplates, and Dimensional Elements, as desired.
